Qualifications offered

FAST FORWARD MUSIC offer a Person-Centred Approach to students learning; being mindful of their Care/Support or any further SEN needs and in relation to the qualifications offered, the style they are delivered, the assessments appropriate to the learner (time and nature of the assessments) and the SMART approach.

FAST FORWARD MUSIC offers a layered approach, dependent on the time students attend our provision, type of course the school has opted for (Group/121/221, half termly or termly placements and for those schools who elect their students to take part in a longer-term placement. All accessible with all these factors in mind; we will determine the level of course (taking data shared with the school) and additional interests in music, we will have a base line assessment, a quiz and observations; already having the CORE subject levels shared by the school,

ALL STUDENTS WHO ATTEND THE PROVISION WILL HAVE THEIR MATHS AND ENGLISH ACCOMMODATED BY THE SCHOOL OR ANOTHER ALTERNATE PROVISION AND DEPICTED IN THE SLA AND AGREED BY THE ALL PARTIES.

Types of placements we offer in line with the qualifications:
ALL QUALIFICATIONS ARE SHARED WITH THE SCHOOLS AND ARE EVIDENT SHOWN THE PR MARKETING INFORMATION SENT TO SCHOOLS.

All qualifications are evident on the online booking form sent to schools showing the qualifications offered.
Currently FAST FORWARD are a part time provision.

Working with Rock School –

• Short term – support to an identified school/provision (place is already confirmed)
12 -week reengagement programme/termly programme
ROCK SCHOOL GRADE 1 -8 Music Production OFFERED – layered approach to short term placement’s, groups or 121/221

On completion of a Rockschool Music Production Grade, every candidate will own a wealth of technical, practical and theoretical knowledge that they can apply to real-world scenarios – whether it’s in audio production, electronic music production, mixing, editing, mastering or sound for media. As an example to support FAST FORWARD, we have incorporated our SOW in line with these GRADE qualifications, will be evident in the lesson plans and SOW. All assessment requirements will then be completed and IV will be implemented. These assessments will be video, audio, written and speaking and listening, some examples.

• Long term Programme – As part of agreed ongoing package of education offering the Level 1 Award to Diploma
(Optional Units of Interests can be covered) within the Rockschool CREATIVE MUSIC INDUSTRY ROCK SCHOOL
